Welcome to the Tonggan Guest House

We hope your stay with us will contribute to a pleasant memory of our island.  We offer the following amenities:

Please note:  This is a no-smoking facility.  No smoking is allowed in the house under any circumstances.

• An air-conditioned one-bedroom attached cottage tastefully decorated with a tropical seaside theme, situated in quiet, southern Guam.  The “real Guam” and Chamorro hospitality can be experienced in our southern villages.  We are 45 minutes drive from the Tumon tourist area and 30 minutes drive from the University of Guam.  Gef Pa’go Chamorro Cultural Village is just 2.5 miles away, and Cocos island resort is 7 miles further south.  Talofofo Falls and Jungle Boat cruise are 15 minutes north.

• A fully-equipped kitchen, including refrigerator/freezer, gas range, microwave oven, coffeemaker, rice cooker, toaster, toaster oven, pots & pans, serving bowls, plates, glassware, flatware and kitchen towels.

• 

• Basic starter food supplies for your first day – coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, bread or pastries & fresh fruit or juice; basic cooking seasonings and condiments.

• A fully-equipped shower bathroom with bath soap, towels and washcloths.

• A comfortable living room with sectional sofa that folds out to a full-size bed, television DVD/VCR player, stereo radio/cassette, radio alarm clock.  A shared telephone is included, and local cell phone companies provide pre-paid services if you need a separate phone.

• 

• A bedroom with kingsize bed, extra linens, hair dryer, and clothes iron.  A futon/mattress is available for children or for lounging in front of the TV.

• 

• Shared laundry facilities next door, with washer and dryer.

• A secluded white-sand family beach just a short walk down our drive and across the road – excellent snorkeling with colorful corals and fish within the lagoon, and channel access to diving spots outside the reef.  We do not provide life-guard services and we cannot be responsible for mishaps: however, the lagoon is shallow with gradual depth of 2 to 10 feet as you reach the reef.

• A manicured lawn surrounds us, with fruit trees and flowers.  You are welcome to pick the fruit in season.

We live right next door and are available to answer questions or just to chat.  We love our home, and hope you enjoy your stay.
 

We are about 40 minutes drive from the airport.  Call me when you arrive if you need further directions (828-8040 or cell 777-3488):

From the airport, turn right and drive about 2 miles to the intersection of Route 16. 

Turn right on Route 16 towards Barrigada.

About 3 miles you will reach the intersection of Route 10 - Turn left towards the university.

Follow Route 10 (also called Veteran's Highway) past the university turn-off for another 5 miles

At the intersection of Route 4, turn left towards Yona

Route 4 is the southern coastal highway.  Follow it south through Yona, around Talofofo Bay, through Malojloj and Inarajan. 

When you reach the big St. Joseph church in Inarajan, it is another 2.5 miles to Tonggan Way..

At the 2 mile mark on your odometer, you will see Inarajan Garden House on your left.  1/2 mile further, look for Tonggan Way sign on your right.

Follow Tonggan Way to the end (about 1/4 mile).

Enter the gate and park in front of the house.  The walkway to Tonggan Guest House will be on your right.  Our house entrance will be straight ahead.  We look forward to seeing you!
